Celectron Printing is a concerned and committed Company, always mindful of the impact on the environment of our purchases, processes, waste and our finished product.

In 2007 we achieved Green Dragon environmental accreditation.

All chemicals come from suppliers who actively strive to reduce the environmental harm caused by their products. Through our own efforts, we have significantly reduced the use of all harmful chemicals, replacing them with eco-friendly equivalents.

Our consumption of Isopropyl alcohol has dropped approximately 90% over the last three years and the majority of our ink is now vegetable based.

All our current paper and card purchases come from sustainable forest sources with ISO14001 or FSC approval.

Our main print output is through a Heidelberg DI four colour press, well known in the industry for having a low environmental cost, both in power and chemical usage.

In addition to installing low energy lighting, LCD screens and double glazing, we now proof our work and send quotations in PDF format via email thus reducing internal paper use.

Our staff have also employed a strict car share policy. All non-contaminated paper and card waste is recycled through an approved service provider. All waste chemicals are collected by ISO14001/9002 certified companies. Should our customers require the service, we will collect unused or obsolete stock for recycling.
